What inspiring and uplifting singing for unity and peace has begun today, with the first notes sounding out in New Zealand and a louder chorus growing steadily around the world as the globe turns and the day passes.
Voices of 150 nationalities in more than 70 countries. Voices of all ages and singing and chanting all kinds of songs, verses and mantras for a more unified and peaceful world.
Singing and chanting in schools, temples, offices, cathedrals, concert halls, Gurdwaras, homes, playgrounds, community centres, Mosques, open spaces – One Day One Choir truly is open for everyone to add their voices for peace, and we’re delighted that so many of you have chosen to do that again with us this year.
Thank you for joining in and for singing together with others in your community for peace and unity. Thank you also to all of those who have helped us to reach out and bring more singers on board, to those who have taught and led classes and choirs, those who have organised and mobilised others and those who have given freely of their time and energy to help our project grow and flourish.
Please start planning for next year now – get the date in your diary – and help us to spread the word and encourage others to join in so that, by September 21st 2018, we really will have the ‘biggest choir’ of voices in the world, singing for peace. Thank you 🙂
